Training for LAFARGE staff at YMCC

YMCC has conducted an advanced rigging training over 2 days for the staff of LAFARGE, the Jordanian Cement manufcaturing company. 

The training was planned by LAFARGE management after the company decided to dismantle one of its old factories in Jordan. The de-construction process is very critical because some of the conveyors were installed by a Japanese company about 40 years ago. Nobody knows the exact weight of the elements or the sections which creates a big challenge for the rigging group.

The training included mobile cranes, forklifts and lifting gear. The trainees were instructed about the importance of safety during work and especially the lifting equipment and its lifting gear.

Overall, the company and trainees were grateful for the knowledge and experience they gained from the training conducted by YMCC general manager, Engineer Yousef Mousa.

It is important to mention that YMCC has the first training center in the Country specialized in the training of personnel on the lifting equipment.
